NENAP offers 40+ programmes across Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical & Mechatronic Engineering (including Automotive Engineering), ICT & Computing, Health Sciences, Business (including Secretarial & Office Administration), Hospitality and Building & Civil Engineering — from Certificate to Higher Diploma across 8 departments.
Apply through the KUCCPS TVET portal (for 2020–2025 KCSE graduates) or directly via our online applicant portal. Applications for the September 2026 intake are open now.
Any KCSE holder (2020–2025) can apply via KUCCPS placement or Direct Entry at NENAP. Certificate and Diploma programmes generally require a mean grade of D+ and above — exact minimums vary slightly by course. If your mean grade is below this (e.g. D or E), our Registrar or the relevant Academic Department can advise you on artisan-level entry points and other pathways available to you. Applicants may also apply for HELB-funded slots through the same process.
Government-approved fee is KSh 67,189 per year (inclusive of assessment fees). A one-off application fee applies at portal registration — check the applicant portal for exact amounts and payment options.

Yes — NENAP TVET students qualify for HELB bursaries and loans covering tuition, accommodation and upkeep. Apply early on the HELB portal, as funds are limited.

Yes. NENAP delivers programmes under the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework, and offers Dual Training partnerships combining institution-based learning with industry attachment. We also support Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for candidates with existing skills or work experience but no formal certificate, and select programmes are available through Distance/Open Learning.
